Hello Again !
Now , I will be telling about each part of CAS more detailly and how my feelings changed since the begining of  doing them . I will also tell about my CAS project. In my next post you will see photos me doing these activities. :)

Creativity:

I have been on the Echo  music group since the begining of 2015-2016  instruction year . I  choosed that club because I love singing and creating some songs by myself. As a group, we performed in some concerts through the year . Other than singing in the school’s music group, I also sing in a group of two  in which we make our own covers of  some jazz and pop songs . When I first started singing a bit  professionally  it was 2013  and it was right after me taking some courses to learn how to flex the muscles to sing and  how to make my voice clear.  Since then I have developped a lot , for example now I can apply  the education that I got to sing in opera style to jazz songs create my own style. I am very happy to be singing but I will continue to do it in my minor group , since I am also interested in science . This year as the creativity part of my CAS , I will take place in the science magazine and the radio channel that my class mates created.

Activity:

I have been doing Zumba fort he activity part of my  CAS . When I  first started dancing , I was not really god at it and I was not  really able to catch every movement that the Zin did. Now , I am better at it and I love dancing. That makes me feel  better and  and it takes me out of the caos of the world , by making me think of the next movement only while enjoying the song  that plays on the background. I am glad to be doing  Zumba   as my activity. I also do some Yoga but I am not as active on Yoga classes as I am in Zumba classes because of my intense academic schedule. With Yoga , I found out that the  true meaning of yoga is more spriritiual than physical.

Service :

For the  Service part of my CAS , I do a lot of activities. The reason is that I have been doing all those activities even before I satarted the IB program. I cary books to a village for children to read once in two weeks and I teach  English to children aged 7-10  twice a week. I visit the  nursing home in different time periods and  we paint the village school that we took the books twice a year .  Also ,  before I started IB, I made a Project in which we  as the students repaired the roof of the village school by ourselves. When I first started doing these activities , I was very happy to be helping people around and I stil am . I have not lost my excitement and happiness  to help  since the begining of my fisrt community service.

CAS Project:

 Me and  classmate of mine started a Project in which we were going to hold a conference in our school. The conference is called the European Youth Parliament and students all around Turkey attended to the conference. The students discussed some  actual problems and foundsolutions which were afterwards  written in formal formats to be send to the Turkish Parliament if needed. Global problems like Syrian Refugees were among the problems that were choosen to  be discussed.  I was the head organizer of the  conference and I arranged the hotels, arrivements and attendances of 300  students  along with thinking of  the disscuion topics. With two other friends we made it happen and the conference was held in the late March succesfully. The process took about 6 months and included meetings with school’s principle and other people that were to  attend as chairs and conference president/vice president.

I am happy  for making it possible to discuss and solve the actual  problems of Turkey and World.
